Approval of the Participatory Management Plan of the Rapides Grah Classified Forest in Côte d'Ivoire during the national validation workshop.

A representative of the TEREA - BTA - AGRO MAP Group presented the final version of the Participatory Management Plan (PAP) of the Rapides Grah Classified Forest (FC) during the national validation workshop held on 14 and 15 July 2022 in San Pedro (San Pedro Region) and in Méagui (Nawa Region). The various stakeholders were present on this occasion under the chairmanship of the Prefect of the Department of San Pedro, represented by the Sub-Prefect of San Pedro.

This PAP, describing the objectives of the development, the main expected activities and the financial balance sheet for this FC (the largest in Cote d'Ivoire with about 264,000 ha), was validated during this workshop.

The exchanges that took place there made it possible to deepen the various measures envisaged for the implementation of a participatory and inclusive approach in the forest rehabilitation of the Rapides Grah FC.
