North Congo Forest Landscape Project (PPFNC): Minister for Forest Economy and AFD discuss project progress
On 13 March 2023, Her Excellency Mrs Rosalie MATONDO, Minister of Forest Economy of the Republic of Congo, granted an audience to the delegation of AFD - Agence Française de Développement and to Alain Nonouka-Gomat, Project Coordinator.
The meeting provided an opportunity to report on AFD's supervision mission for the PPFNC, which had taken place a few days earlier in the Sangha and Likouala regions from 6 to 11 March 2023.
On this occasion, a summary of the activities carried out by the Project, led by TEREA, since its inception was presented to the Minister, detailing its implementation, as well as the results of discussions with partners from the Congolaise Industrielle des Bois (CIB) and the Industrie Forestière d'Ouesso (IFO) on the various PPFNC support expected.
