Final external evaluation of the FLEGT-REDD, FLEGT-IP and FLEGT-Certification projects of ATIBT

The FLEGT-REDD project, led by ATIBT, aims to improve the involvement of the private forest sector in the implementation of the FLEGT action plan and the REDD+ mechanism. The project targets five countries, two of which have already concluded a Voluntary Partnership Agreement with the EU (Cameroon, Congo) and three of which are in the process of negotiation (Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, DRC).

TEREA's mission is to carry out the final external evaluation of the project for the 3 main donors: FFEM, EU and PPECF/KFW.

The project is divided into 5 components:

  1. REDD+.
  2. FLEGT VPA
  3. EUBP
  4. EUBP Information Platform
  5. Capitalisation and exchange of experience.
