Always in the direction taken in its wishes for 2022, TEREA has decided to follow a second association which works for the good: Solidarité France Sahel.

This association, founded in 2008 by Louis and Françoise Fontvieille, implements committed projects in Senegal, particularly in the Sine Valley, through economic and environmental development programs in conjunction with local communities.

TEREA dedicates its year to solidarity and supports the association ON SE GÈLE DEHORS.

To take up the direction stated in its wishes for 2022, TEREA has decided to dedicate its year in large part to solidarity and to highlight associations whose activities count. Among them ON SE GÈLE DEHORS, created in 2015 by Daniel Jacquin, whose will is to help homeless and disadvantaged people in Marseille.

Participation of TEREA in the Round Table "substantiating the claim of SFM with regards to climate change mitigation " organised by the Precious Forest Foundation

TEREA represented the ATIBT at the Round Table initiated by the Precious Forest Foundation on October 6th. The round table gathered several experts of carbon and forest to discuss the role of sustainable forest management in climate change mitigation, and the access to carbon credit mechanisms by forest operators.

Congo. Launch of the "Projet d'Appui à la Relance du Secteur Agricole" (PARSA) accompanied by TEREA.

The Projet d'Appui à la Relance du Secteur Agricole (PARSA) was launched on November 18 under the patronage of the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries (MAEP), Mr. Paul-Valentin Ngobo and the Ambassador of France in the Republic of Congo, Mr. François Barateau.

République centrafricaine. TEREA présente les résultats du PDRSO

TEREA, responsable du volet Développement Local du Projet de Développement Régional du Sud-Ouest de la République Centrafricaine (PDRSO), a présenté ses résultats lors d’un atelier à Bangui les 17 et 18 mai 2021.

Gabon. Étude d'un mécanisme d'incitation des entreprises forestières à la réduction des émissions de GES

En vue de proposer une stratégie de certification carbone adaptée au secteur forestier, TEREA rencontre les acteurs de la filière bois gabonaises pour échanger sur leurs engagements et leurs pratiques en matière de réduction d’émissions de gaz à effet de serre.

Gabon. Lancement des consultations pour l’élaboration de la CDN.

Afin d’appuyer le Gabon dans l’actualisation de ses engagements climatiques dans le cadre de l’Accord de Paris, TEREA réalise actuellement des consultations auprès des acteurs des secteurs clés de l’économie gabonaise.

Côte d'Ivoire. TEREA, Agromap et BTA ont été sélectionnées pour l’élaboration du Plan d’Aménagement Participatif de la Forêt Classée de Rapides Grah.

L’objectif principal de ce projet est de contribuer à la restauration du couvert forestier à l'ouest du pays.

Nord Cameroun. Élaboration du schéma d’aménagement et de développement durable du territoire.

En partenariat avec AGRER et DITA CONSEIL, TEREA est en charge de l’élaboration du Schéma d’Aménagement et de Développement Durable du Territoire de la Région du Nord Cameroun.

Mise en place d’un système de suivi et évaluation de l’intervention du PIREDD Mongala exécuté par ENABEL.

Le système inclut le cadre de résultats du programme, un outil de gestion des plaintes et recours et une assurance qualité de l’intervention.

Banado la Estrella

Trois ONG sont en charge de mettre en place une zone de gestion trinationale incluant un delta intérieur (Banado La Estrella) présentant un intérêt écologique majeur.

Ivory Coast. TEREA co-facilitates a workshop on different management orientations of the classified forest of Rapides Grah.
